Applying

You must file two distinct applications to be considered for ISP. First, you must file a regular application for admission to Northwestern University. A general application to Northwestern University can be obtained from Undergraduate Admissions. You must also file an ISP application directly with us. You can apply to ISP using the online application.

The application processes to Northwestern and to ISP are separate. Admission to Northwestern is not a guarantee of admission to the ISP and the status of your ISP application will not affect your Northwestern general acceptance decision. Students admitted into ISP must also be admitted into Northwestern more generally.

Need-based financial aid might be available from the university in the form of loans, grants, and part-time employment. If you want to be considered for financial aid, be sure to follow the instructions and observe the deadlines on Northwestern’s undergraduate application for admission. ISP does not offer any additional financial aid or scholarships.
